A MAN and a woman accused of robbing a pub with a machete have appeared before Bolton magistrates.
Stephen Michael Cox, aged 26, of no fixed address, and Angela Littler, aged 31, of Beverley Road, Heaton, are both charged with attempted armed robbery, drink driving, four counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
They were ordered to appear at Bolton Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on February 20. Cox was remanded in custody and Littler was granted conditional bail.
