TENANTS had to be evacuated from a block of flats after a kitchen fire broke out in an apartment.
Firefighters were called to Camrose Gardens off Brownlow Way, Bolton, at 7.15pm on Tuesday night after food was left on a cooker.
They managed to contain the fire to the kitchen and the 20 residents were allowed back in after 40 minutes.
