WANDERERS boss Gary Megson refuses to accept his side would be safe if they beat Fulham on Saturday.

Should they emerge successful this weekend, the Whites would move on to 36 points – a total that has been enough to stave-off relegation in four of the last five campaigns.

But Megson has called for a strong finish, as he bids to avoid any of the unpredictable results that tend to crop up at this time of year.

“You look at everyone’s fixtures and I don’t think there is any such thing as a ‘better’ run-in,” he said.
