BOLTON Under-15s bid to close the gap on the Greater Manchester Schools’ League leaders when they travel to take on local rivals Bury at the Derby School tomorrow, kick off 10.30am.
The Bolton youngsters are currently trailing Salford and Tameside with three games still to play while Bury are occupying a mid-table position following a string of indifferent results.
Bolton will go into the game full of confidence after making it through to the Greater Manchester Schools’ County Cup final last weekend with a thrilling 4-3 penalty shootout win against Salford.
Bury are also in the running for a place in the County Cup final but they must overcome Manchester in their semi-final if they are to join their neighbours.
