New You’ve Been Framed! (Saturday, ITV1, 5.45pm) If you’re the sort of person who rushes to somebody’s aid when they come a cropper rather than stand back and frantically check to see if you captured it on your camera-phone, then maybe this isn’t the show for you.

It’s a fact of life that other people’s embarrassing mishaps are usually quite funny, so if you’re lucky enough to capture someone’s accident on tape, then you might as well make a few quid out of it by sending it to You’ve Been Framed!

And it turns out that watching babies sneeze, cats dance and grandmas fall off swings never actually gets old, it’s funny no matter how many times you see it. Game for a Laugh star Jeremy Beadle made a fine living for many years by introducing camcorder calamities, but nowadays it’s the king of surreal and madcap humour, Harry Hill. His zany observations have breathed new life into the flagging format.

Dancing on Ice (Sunday, ITV1, 6.55pm) At long last, the final is here. It’s been 10 weeks since we saw this year’s celebrities totter onto the ice.

Back then, Graeme Le Saux was the first famous face to leave the show, leaving Gemma Bissix, Jeremy Edwards, Michael Underwood, Todd Carty, Ellery Hanley, Melinda Messenger, Roxanne Pallett, Zoe Salmon, Coleen Nolan, Donal MacIntyre, Jessica Taylor and Ray Quinn in the competition.

As ever, judges Karen Barber, Nicky Slater, Jason Gardiner, Ruthie Henshall and Robin Cousins will be offering their expert opinions on the routines of the three finalists, but it will be up to the viewers at home who wins.

After the couple with the least votes are asked to leave, the two pairs remaining face the ultimate challenge — dancing the famous Bolero routine, 25 years after Torvill and Dean won their Olympic gold medals.

The Gadget Show (Monday, Five, 8pm) Considering they’ve been presenting The Gadget Show for a few years now, it’s probably safe to assume Suzi Perry and Jon Bentley are constantly tripping over the hoard of gizmos they have been given to review for the show when they are at home.

With that in mind, the pair do some early spring cleaning and compete with one another to see who can make the most money by selling these unwanted items as the latest series continues.

Suzi decides to flog her collection online, while Jon hits the high street to try his luck, and both are confident they can recoup a decent amount of money for their respective hauls.

In the final part of their quest, the pair have to buy the very best TV and laptop they can afford with the proceeds of their sales. As always, the pair have a host of hot tips on where to find the best bargains.
