THE Reebok factor will be crucial if Wanderers are to avoid a nervous end to the season.

Three of the Whites’ final five league game are at home and Gary Megson has challenged his side to make sure of safety by taking full advantage.

“Your home form will always have the biggest impact on your fortunes,” he said.

“Hopefully 90 per cent of the supporters are on your side, they are familiar with their surroundings, and should be more comfortable.

“I don’t think that goal we conceded against Portsmouth last week would have been given at the Reebok. I thought it was a foul, it shouldn’t have been allowed but having said that, the same referee didn’t see the ball was over the line against Wigan.”

The manager, pictured, has also said he will delay making a decision on the future of loan signings, Ebi Smolarek, Ariza Makukula and Sebastien Puygrenier until after the final game against Manchester City on May 24.

“The loan lads have got a part to play but I won’t make my mind up on what will happen until the end of the season,” he said. “When they have been called upon, they have done okay.

“It’s not a case of making a judgement now, the judgement was made to bring them in on loan.”
