A great view - and the dog enjoys the walk
“ON a clear day you can see forever . . . ”
Well, perhaps not quite so far but when this photograph was taken from Bury Road in 1969 you could certainly see a long way over the Quarlton area.
The farm in the foreground is Pallet Farm, the then home of Mr and Mrs Charles Freeman. Further away can be seen Edgworth Methodist Church, and Wayoh reservoir is in the centre.
