A DISTRAUGHT couple, whose 13-year-old son has been missing for almost two weeks, have made an emotional plea for him to return home.

Jack Pearson was last seen in the North Wales holiday resort of Llandudno.

His parents Roy and Maria Pearson, of Lonsdale Grove, Farnworth, fear he may have run away with a group of fairground workers.

Jack has gone missing on previous occasions, but his parents say he has always returned within a few days.

Mrs Pearson, aged 36, said: “My husband and I are out of our minds, worrying about where he is and what he’s getting up to. We don’t care what he’s done and what’s happened — we just want him home.”

Jack went missing on Wednesday, April 22, when he failed to return home from Harper Green School. The teenager had been wearing his school uniform, black with a maroon trim.

Mrs Pearson said: “Since March, Jack has been missing for around four weeks in total. But this is by far the longest time he’s been gone. He’s been going to work on different fairgrounds in the North West but in the past has been brought home by police.

“He’s apparently been going to Cheshire and Blackburn during the day but coming back to another area of Farnworth at night. He’s been hanging around with certain people, who live elsewhere in this area, who he knows I don’t approve of.

“Before he went missing this time, Jack told me he had been working on fairgrounds but wouldn’t do it again. But within a matter of days, he’s gone off once more.”
