Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (Saturday, ITV1, 10pm) Ten years ago, Piers Morgan was best known for being an aggressive tabloid newspaper editor — the youngest for several decades.

More recently he has developed a successful television career, hosting a BBC documentary series on fame and presenting his own Channel 4 current affairs programme.

Flash forward to today and a good chunk of the population chiefly know him as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent and its American counterpart — America’s Got Talent.

He’s also back for a second series of this chat show. Piers, as much a celebrity these days as some of the people he meets, interviews famous faces about their careers and personal lives.

The show includes contributions from friends, family and colleagues as he attempts to build a picture of the real people behind the stars’ public personas.

Cilla Black and Geri Halliwell are among those celebrities rumoured to be appearing in this new series.

Hannah Montana (Sunday, Channel 5, 11am) She is beloved by teenyboppers everywhere — complete with unmistakeable blonde wig and dazzling smile.

Miley Stewart may look like an ordinary teenager (apart from the wig), but unknown to most of her classmates she lives an extraordinary double life that most of us can only dream of — that of an international pop sensation known as Hannah Montana.

If you’re unaware of that, you either haven’t got kids, or have been living on Mars for the past couple of years, because this is one of the biggest children’s hits for many a moon.

Reminiscent of the ever-popular High School Musical, feel-good fun is guaranteed.

In this episode Oliver handcuffs Miley and Lilly together when they have a fight — but Hannah is due to collect an important award. Can Miley extricate herself from her predicament?

All Saints (Monday, BBC Two, 1pm) If you enjoy watching stressed medical staff rush around in scrubs while jumping into bed with each other in their spare time then this new series may be for you. This hit medical drama is considered one of Australia’s top television dramas and with its twist and turns it will almost certainly be enjoyed by serious fans of the genre. In this opening episode the day of Ben and Bron’s wedding arrives, but Mitch misses the ceremony because the new intern misdiagnoses a patient. Despite Bron’s nerves and the unwelcome arrival of her father, the couple finally make it to the altar. Meanwhile Mitch’s drinking seems out of control and Terri is reliving nightmares of her father’s violence. Nelson’s trust is betrayed on the ward by an amorous nurse, and privately by his alcoholic wife. Elsewhere a new intern, Angus, is shown the ropes.
