TOWN hall chiefs will meet next week to decide the future of one of the most controversial planning issues in Bolton’s recent history.
The fate of Cutacre, near Over Hulton, will be in the balance when the council decides whether to accept proposals to turn part of the area into an industrial estate.
The scheme is part of the council’s “core strategy”, a long-term economic plan, which was scaled back massively after a public outcry over the potential destruction of greenbelt land.
The final vote, open to every member of the council, will be cast on Wednesday.
