A NEW vegetarian restaurant opens in Bolton this weekend by the owners of the successful Spice Valley brand.
The Masala Xpress is currently serving halal Indian meat dishes but will close today for a deep clean, re-opening today as a vegetarian eaterie.
Owners Subhash and Geeta Kotecha are vegetarians and have overseen the new menu for the restaurant in Deane Road, near the University of Bolton.
The couple own the popular Spice Valley restaurants in The Valley, Bolton and in Lee Lane, Horwich.
Mrs Kotecha said: “Following customer demand, we have decided to rebrand the restaurant as a vegetarian place selling a wide variety of food, including vegetarian thali dishes, Bombay street snacks and curries.”
