ROYAL SHOW: Peter Kay meets the Queen as fellow entertainer Bette Midler looks on
TONIGHT’S the night to watch Peter Kay meeting the Queen when the Royal Variety Show is screened on ITV1 at 7.30pm.
The show, recorded at the Opera House in Blackpool earlier this month, was hosted by Peter, who welcomed the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to “the entertainment capital of the world”.
He also joked with the Queen about putting wheelie bins out at Buckingham Palace and said his nan was sitting near her and would be “swapping fudge” with her by the interval.
