VISITORS to Barlow Park in the spring will be greeted with stunning daffodils — thanks to the efforts of local children.
Youngsters Aaron Duffy, aged five, Chloe Perks, aged nine, and Madison Perks, aged six, helped to plant the bulbs at the Barlow Park Young People’s Centre.
They were donated by ward Cllr John Walsh, who secured funding for thousands of new bulbs to be planted in Astley Bridge via the council’s local area forum.
