RAIL passengers in Bolton will face some disruptions tomorrow because of a shortage of Northern Rail staff.
Services from Manchester Oxford Road to Wigan, which calls at Bolton, will run as normal but some early-morning services may not be in operation.
A bus service will replace the rail service on the routes to Clitheroe and Southport.
Trains and buses on all routes are expected to finish earlier than timetabled, about 6pm to 8pm.
Passengers are urged to check the websites nationalrail.co.uk or northernrail.org.
A normal timetable will resume on Monday.
