A YOUNG accountant has won a national award after achieving one of the highest marks in a professional exam.
Joanne Nowell, of RSM Tenon’s Bolton office, won the award in exams set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Ms Nowell scored 98 per cent and will receive the Carter Prize in London during May.
Peter Donnelly, managing director at RSM Tenon, said: “Joanne’s achievement is outstanding.”
Ms Nowell said: “It’s great to receive this recognition — for me and for the company.”
