Bolton badminton star Jenny Wallwork and her partner Nathan Robertson were knocked out of the mixed doubles at the Yonex All England Badminton Championships on Friday night with a 21-18, 21-19 defeat to number two seeds, Indonesia’s Olympic silver medallists Nova Widianto and Liliyana Natsir.
The Bolton-born Wallwork, who is based in Leeds, and Robertson had beaten world champions Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Juhl in the previous round on Thursday.
Wallwork’s ladies doubles campaign ended on Thursday when she and partner Gabby White went out in the second round.
