POLICE in Manchester are investigating after a 33-year-old man said he was raped in the city during the early hours of Wednesday.
Detectives said the sexual assault took place in Whitworth Park, off Oxford Road.
The park has been temporarily closed and Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses.
