THE Council has had prior warning of the Governments recycling targets for long enough; alas, the problem has now become very urgent due to the councils inaction on the project.
Now all residents will eventually be landed with the task entrusted to the council in order that the council can meet its target and claim to have saved money in the process.
They have left it too late to accomplish the task themselves and the residents are now in danger of getting the blame for missed targets.
Even after emails to councillors, adverts in the paper, there are still no green bins or boxes in some areas.
