A CHAUFFEUR'S car was stolen after he stopped to pick up passengers that he was taking to the airport.
The 56-year-old man had pulled over in a silver Volvo S80 to collect a group of customers at Manchester Road, Ramsbottom.
As he left the vehicle, leaving the keys in the ignition, the offender pushed him aside and climbed into the car. The thief sped off towards the M66 motorway. Police are investigating.
