A SPECTACULAR multi-cultural bazaar is set to be a big attraction in Bolton this summer.

Organisers of the Apna Bazaar, which will take place on July 21 and 22, in the Town Hall, promise that it will be bigger and better than ever before, with a fashion show, dancing and musical performances, business and cookery masterclasses, and visual arts exhibitions.

The Apna Bazaar offers an opportunity for all members of the community to be involved in the event - be they models, dancers, choreographers or businessmen.

The event is staged in conjunction with Apna News and the Bolton Evening News and will culminate in a glittering gala evening with dinner, music and dancing to celebrate those who have championed diversity across the region.

Anyone who wishes to take part - creatively, as an exhibitor or through sponsorship - is invited to an information evening at the Lancaster Suite in Bolton Town Hall at 4pm on Tuesday.

Christine Forster, general manager at the Albert Halls, said: "Doing this presents a tremendous challenge and doing it well is important. I'm sure there are businesses out there who are keen to make it a reality."
