AS an ex-Boltonian living in the States, I came over recently to stay with relatives in Harwood.
How shocked we were to see the state of the place. From Safeway to the park was filthy. And the stream was full of trollies. You could not see the water for cans.
As for Bolton, we thought it was the dirtiest place we have seen for some time. Let's hope it can be cleaned up for next time we come.
