Sheila Dewsbury an exhibition of recent paintings

A Saddleworth-based landscape and figure painter whose work explores the underlying structure of the subject and how the play of light exposes form. Dewsbury's oil paintings are interested in structure and light affects colour and atmosphere, and much of her work features moorland, mountain and coastal areas of the South Pennines, Wales and Ireland.
