WITH reference to your two articles on teenage gangs on Tuesday, March 22.
As a parent of two teenagers, I am very concerned about the increase in under-age drinking and violence against people and their property.
I live in the Heaton area and, along with other residents, have suffered abuse from these people for at least 18 months.
My husband was threatened with a beating a number of times last week, and the youth - who was very drunk - said he would smash our windows.
My major concern is, what are the parents doing when their children are terrorising the neighbourhood?
After arrests of pupils in local secondary schools, I believe it is time parents retake control over their own children before Bolton ends up a no-go area in the evening.
