IT'S Challenge Cup action for Atherton LR and Atherton Colls - with both sides facing tricky Third Round ties this weekend.
Paul Greenacre and Tom Murphy are cup-tied for LR's home game against St Helens Town (kick-off 3pm) after figuring in the competition for Daisy Hill in an earlier round.
Saints are currently second in the league, and will be gunning for revenge after LR ended their 12-match unbeaten run earlier this season with a 3-0 victory.
Paul Crompton, who has scored 22 goals this campaign, will also play his last game before a one-match suspension.
Colls face a very different task, travelling to unbeaten Division One outfit Cammell Laird.
The former West Cheshire League side have scored an astonishing 120 goals in 18 games so far, conceding just 20. Their leading scorer Ronnie Morgan had hit 40 goals before Christmas.
Colls will be without centre-half Lee Bowles (injury) and Dave Conlon (suspension), but secretary Emil Anderson thinks a cup win could boost their flagging cup form.
He said: "If we can perform like we have in the last two games we will be in with a shout."
