THE true story behind Shakespeare's Macbeth will be the subject of a lecture at Bolton Museum.
Historian David Craven will explore the truth behind one of Shakespeare's most famous characters in a half-hour lecture.
The talk, which takes place on January 12, will be held in the lecture theatre of the museum on Le Mans Crescent at 1.15pm.
