YOUNG people affected by alcohol and drugs during the New Year period are being urged to contact a mentoring project for support.
The Rap project was set up in Bolton to provide support and advice for wayward youngsters through adult role models.
Eight young people are now involved in the £150,000 project where adult mentors provide advice and support.
Organisers of the project say that youngsters are more likely to experiment with alcohol and drugs during the New Year.
