Drink-driver John Thomson has been banned from the road for 16 months.
Thomson, aged 49, of Abbott Croft, Westhoughton, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol at Blackpool magistrates after police spotted him driving his Mercedes erratically.
A breath test showed 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
The court heard Thomson renovated televisions and electrical goods and without his licence, would lose his livelihood.
He was also fined £150 with £50 costs.
