MOTORISTS face a high level of disruption in Tonge and The Haulgh in the new year as work is carried out to upgrade traffic signals and crossing facilities at a number of locations.
Bolton Council's engineering department will work along Bury Road affecting the junctions with Bradford Street, Bury New Road, Crompton Way and Empire Road and Long Lane and Milnthorpe Road in a three-month programme of improvements, from January 10.
