A WOMAN who made a suicide pact with her husband has returned home.
Wendy Ainscow arrived home in the Wirral after spending more than week in the physiatric ward of a hospital in Tenerife.
The 64-year-old was rescued by fishermen after walking into the sea. She had taken a cocktail of drugs with her 75-year-old husband, Bill, originally from Bolton, who died, on November 2.
The couple made the suicide pact after their daughter Lisa, who suffers from Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism, ran up huge debts.
Their friend, Charles Howarth, of Smithills, is trying to raise money for the funeral.
