Corresponding fixture: Wanderers 0, Charlton 0.

Last time out: Charlton 2 (Konchesky, Rufus), Chelsea 3 (Zola, Cole, Lampard).

Talking point: Matthew Etherington's impressive performance for Spurs at Everton has put paid to any chance of Alan Curbishley taking him to The Valley ... The Addicks' boss has been checking out Japan's Brazil-born World Cup winger Alex (Alessandro dos Santos) who plays for Shimizu S-Pulse in the J-League.

Update: Claus Jensen is fit again and back in the swing (his pass for Konchesky's goal against Chelsea was quality) after last season's injury problems but Charlton's other ex-Wanderer, Mark Fish, is only just on his way back from the knee injury he suffered in February and is unlikely to figure. Scott Parker, who missed the Chelsea game with an ankle injury, could be back in the reckoning while skipper Mark Kinsella looks like he is on his way to Aston Villa.

Title odds: 1,250-1.

Coral match odds: Wanderers 11-10, Charlton 2-1, draw 11-5.
