SATURDAY: Wanderers suffer a last-gasp defeat for the second successive Saturday, Kanu's goal in the third minute of overtime securing a 2-1 Arsenal win that keeps the Champions on top of the Premiership.

Thierry Henry gives the Gunners the lead on 27 minutes but Gareth Farrelly flukes an equaliser, to the embarrassment of England keeper David Seaman, two minutes into the second half. Arsenal are frustrated by a defiant defensive display but Wanderers are reduced to 10 men when Ivan Campo, making his full debut, is sent off 10 minutes from time for a second bookable offence. Sam Allardyce says the talented Spaniard must carry the can. Kevin Nolan, who misses the Highbury game, is ruled out for three to four weeks with a torn groin muscle.

MONDAY

JAY Jay Okocha gets his first goal in Bolton colours and Chris Armstrong makes his first public appearance in a reserve team packed with experience but captained by 17-year-old Danny Livesey. Fellow newcomer David Holdsworth gets his first competitive game while Stig Tofting and Akin Bulent get 90-minutes apiece but the second string go down 3-1 to Sunderland Reserves at Gigg Lane.

TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

HAVING urged his players to maintain the form they've shown against the big guns, the manager asks supporters to generate a big-match atmosphere when Southampton come to the Reebok. Wanderers' junior scout Fred O'Donoghue dies at his home in Lostock Hall, near Preston.

THURSDAY
