SURELY the Board after consultation with the supporters' club ought to have reviewed this case, not made a faceless quick non-negotiable ban.
To ban a fan for life is a very big thing. Not even Eric Cantona was banned for life and we all know that his attacking of a fan was a far worse offence.
No one was assaulted and the chap walked off of his own freewill unescorted.
The club should review this poor ruling and downgrade the ban in line with the court ruling.
