SAM Allardyce will give a team talk with a difference tomorrow night . . . it will take place on the coach and he won't say a word.

The Wanderers boss will get his players in the mood for the Manchester United derby by playing a video of last season's glorious 2-1 Old Trafford victory.

The recording of that game is the biggest selling Wanderers video of all time.

Allardyce will use its adrenalin-pumping quality as a motivational technique to bring the best out of his players at the start of a daunting three-match sequence which also includes Liverpool at home and Arsenal away.

The Reebok manager has had a copy of the video for almost 12 months but has yet to sit down to watch it.

But he has told his staff to put together a highlights version for the squad to watch as they make the short trip from Bolton to Manchester.

"I've got the video at home but I've never watched it," said Allardyce who still has a huge poster of Michael Ricketts' winning goal, which was presented to him by the Bolton Evening News, up on his office wall.

"Life moves on so quickly, for me anyway, that I have never had time to reflect on that great day from a nostalgic point of view.

"But we will use it tomorrow. We will put together a 20-minute clip of the video and play it to the players on the coach to show them what they achieved last season."
