A PENSIONER was threatened with a knife and left with broken false teeth after being punched in the face by robbers.
Detectives are hunting two men who carried out the attack and threatened to stab the 80-year-old man and shoot his son in Bury.
The father and son from Warrington travelled to a house in Gigg Lane on Sunday after answering an advert to buy a van.
They arrived at the house at 5pm, but found nobody at the address.
As they waited outside in their Mitsubishi Shogun, two men arrived in a dark Peugeot 206.
They said they had been sent by the vendor and had the vehicles documents.
The son followed the two men into the house while, leaving his father in their 4x4.
The son was threatened him with a knife, and robbed.
One of the men then approached the father in the Shogun.
He removed the ignition key and threatened to stab the pensioner.
He warned that his son would be shot if he did not hand over the money.
He then stole the Shogun and the cash the men had brought to pay for the van.
