BOLTON pupils are joining 60,000 children across the UK to take part in a national tree planting campaign.
Tree For All, run by The Woodland Trust, aims to provide one million children with the chance to plant 12 million trees.
Pupils at 11 primary schools across Bolton have been provided with special packs to plant in the run-up to Tree For All weekend, November 18 to 23.
Schools taking part are Devonshire Road Primary, Johnson Fold Primary, Thomasson Memorial School, St Peters Smithills Dean CE Primary, The Valley Community School, St William of York RC Primary, Ladybridge Primary School, Eatock Primary, St James CE School, St Mary's RC Primary and Walmsley CE Primary.
