ALISON Henderson seems perplexed by a somewhat difficult question posed by her 10-year-old son, who wanted to know why we celebrate the fact that someone actually tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
A good question from a 10-year-old. However, the celebration of the Gunpowder Plot is the burning of the effigy of Guy Fawkes, not at his attempt to blow up Parliament.
