Westhoughton Lions U15s produced a good performance with only 10 players before going down to Latchford Albion by 24-20.

The U11s lost 16-10 to Chorley Panthers, the U10s beat arch-rivals Shevington by 34-22. The game was level at 18 each at half-time, but the Lions turned on the style to run out comfortable winners.

Jamie Cloran, Conor Smith, Lewis Dolan and Thomas Wright with a hat-trick were the try scorers.

The U9s had an impressive 28-8 victory over Leigh East with an Abbey Jones hat-trick the pick of the performance. The remaining scorers were: Richard Denniss (2), Mark Charlton and Patrick O'Brien.

The U8s had an exciting tussle with Halton Farnworth Hornets, which ended in a 40-40 draw, the second draw between the teams this season.

Tries came from Chris Brownlow and Aidan Mann, with four each, two from Bradley Kelly.

Westhoughton Lions Under 9's - 28 Leigh East Under 9's - 8

A hat trick from Abbey Jones helped the under 9's to their second win in succession in a excellent display of rugby. Further together with excellent defence from Joe Hilton, Jack Townsley, Declan Kerr, Liam Mooney, Adam Bradshaw and new player Josh Barlow saw the Lions run out easy winners.

Westhoughton Lions Under 15's - 20 Latchford Albion - 24.

A good performance from the Lions with only 10 players.
