SWIMMING
SALE Grammar School were last week's opposition, with Bolton School winning the overall match 180-141, while also triumphing in three of the four individual age groups. The Seniors won 42-30, Inters drew 44-44, U13s won 41-32, and U12s won 53-35.
CROSS-COUNTRY
THE junior boys team have qualified for the regional finals of the English School Cross County Championship in Kendal on November 13, after winning the North Manchester and Lancashire heat in Rivington.
SAILING
Basil Monks has achieved success as part of the Lancashire A team that were victorious in the National Schools Sailing team racing competition.
