BOLTON Arena is urging people in Bolton to get fit by taking part in their free three-day fitness event.

The Middlebrook centre has joined forces with the Bolton Evening News Fit For Life campaign to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to people living in the borough.

Their one-off three-day event running on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, October 23, 24 and 25, will provide opportunities for people to try new sports and activities.

A wide-ranging timetable has been drawn up with input from Bolton Council and Bolton Primary Care Trust.

Workshops will run from 10am until 4pm each day, with a choice of at least three different activities.

The timetable includes everything from straightforward exercise such as walking and cycling, to more inspirational activities such as pilates and spinning. For further details contact the Arena on 01204 488100.
