AN inquest into the death of man who died after his sports car hit a garden wall near his home has been opened and adjourned.
Christopher Warburton died after his TVR Tuscan Speed Six hit a wall in Darwen Road, Dunscar, in the early hours of Saturday.
Mr Warburton, aged 39, and his wife, who suffered a fractured hip in the crash, were travelling back to their home from the Bolton Wanderers chairman's ball at the Reebok Stadium to their home in Dunscar Fold.
Firefighters cut Mr Warburton and his wife from the wreckage of the car, but the father of two was pronounced dead on arrival at Royal Bolton Hospital.
