AN asylum seeker who was trying to keep warm gathered tyres together and set them alight on a pub car park early Wednesday morning.
The young man, who is facing deportation, lit the fire on the car park at the side of the Dukes Gate pub, Cleggs Lane, Farnworth, at 2.30am.
The police were called and the man is now in the care of Social Services.
