NEW Egerton Players will be performing Leslie Sands' comedy Beside The Seaside from November 3 to 6 at the United Reformed Church, Blackburn Road, Egerton.
Set in Blackpool around 1960, the play features a seedy guesthouse, a tyrannical landlady, a middle aged couple with a young daughter, honeymooners and theatricals, all combining for an affectionate, hilarious evening.
The cast includes Edwina Freeman, Carol Fielding, Amy Collins, Jonathon Simmons, Mark Forsythe, Pat Clarke, Emma Barlow, Matt Fox and Alison Barton. The piece is directed by Jack Fielding and produced by Stewart Ball, and tickets are available on 01204 303055.
