A NEW Alan Ayckbourn comedy comes to Bolton's Octagon Theatre on Tuesday.
Drowning On Dry Land, described by the Sunday Times as Ayckbourn "at his very best", tells the story of "A-list" celebrity Charlie Conrad, who appears, on first sight, to be the man who has it all.
Playing Charlie is former Coronation Street and The Bill star Stephen Beckett.
This Stephen Joseph Theatre production takes a look at today's media-driven society and asks whether anything is as it seems.
Drowning On Dry Land runs from Tuesday and Saturday next week, with evening performances beginning at 7.30pm and Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2pm.
Ticket prices vary between £7 and £15.95 and are available on 01204 520661.
