Atherton LR 2 Curzon Ashton 1: STRIKER Mark Westworth proved an inspired stand-in goalkeeper as Atherton LR moved into the top six of the North West Counties League First Division.
Westworth stepped in after goalkeeper Nick Ward had to pull out at short notice.
Stuart McGill fired Curzon in front bin the 26th minute, when he ran on to John Utterson's pass to fire past Westworth.
But LR equalised five minutes before half-time, when Steve Wynne headed in a Gareth Strange free kick to score against his former club.
Adam Lucas drove in the winner with 14 minutes left.
