A NEW three metre-high wire fence is to be built around a Horwich playing field.
Councillors in Horwich approved plans to enclose the fields at Slatersfield, off Slater Avenue, which are used by Holy Trinity Primary School. The fence will also protect houses on Waterman's Close, which back on to the fields.
