AUCTIONEERS are asking Looking Back readers for any historical information they might have about Eagley Bank Coach House and stables - Grade 2 listed buildings dating from around 1860.
The Coach House has a prominent clock tower.
Alan McNaughton of Miller Metcalfe in Bradshawgate, Bolton (01204 535353), tells me they were built by local mill owner Sir John Holden.
The buildings are approached by a yard leading to Andrew Lane. The auction featuring the Coach House is scheduled for November 18.
