A LOCAL sportswear specialist has achieved a top 10 position in a survey of the top 50 sports shops in the UK.
Cricket World, in Belmont Road, was named at number 8 in a survey carried out for The Independent newspaper, which said of the shop: "There is everything an aspirant cricketer could wish for."
Store owner Paul Tebay said he was "delighted" at the accolade.
