FANS of Astley Youth Band may be able to see the group perform live in the French Alps -- through the wonders of modern technology.
The village of Alpe d'Huez, where the band will entertain spectators for the Tour de France, will be broadcasting events over an internet web-camera.
The band may make an open-air appearance on the internet during their first performance on Sunday, which is one of four they will be making in the Alps.
They will also play in nearby Allemont on Thursday July 22, Our Lady of the Snows church in Alpe d'Huez on Friday 23, and the grand finale at the Chateau de Vizille, which will be televised on news channel France 3.
