I HAVE come down to Moses Gate Country Park for as many years as I can remember.

As a child with my parents, walking, feeding the beautiful swans, geese and ducks, pond dipping, learning about birds, rabbits, squirrels etc.

Now, as a teenager walking home from school and still enjoying the park at weekends with friends.

So what has happened to our tranquil park? Generators, music, noise all day, a fun fair and burger van where the swans, geese, etc., used to come out of the water.

This is not the beautiful countryside within suburbia I grew up in.

What next -- industrial units, housing?
