INDEPENDENT travel agency Travel Counsellors plc is in the final stages of creating an independently administered financial trust for all the money it receives from customers.
The trust will mean every one of its clients can be sure they will be fully reimbursed in the event of any supplier failure - including low cost airlines, scheduled air, package holidays, accommodation only and car hire.
The company, based in Churchgate, said it will be able to give full details of the trust within the next six weeks.
David Speakman, Chairman and founder of Travel Counsellors, said: "We need a system that protects all customer monies - not just in certain circumstances or with certain suppliers. We want our customers to be fully protected and this Trust will give all our customers complete peace of mind.
